The Best Videos of the Week [Video]:
Have you heard that video is a big thing over at Gawker Media? It's true, we watch and post a lot of videos each week. Here are some of the best videos of week, culled from an array of Gawker Media sites.
There are multiple tornadoes on the ground in the Dallas area right now, and one has already caused significant damage after ripping through an entire tractor trailer parking lot. The video above, from CNN's broadcast, clearly shows a number of 18-wheelers being picked up hundreds of feet in the air.

While nowhere near as bad as any that made our suggestions for the Worst National Anthem Ever (indeed, if you caught Monica's tone-deaf rendition Saturday, you know it wasn't even the worst of the Final Four) The Fray's attempt at a hipster version of Marvin Gaye's "Star-Spangled Banner" fell awfully flat. If you were fortunate enough to tune into tonight's game late, well, blame us tomorrow.

"I'm moving, therefore my paws should be moving." You really can't argue with this kind of flawless puppy logic.

At a stoplight, a car waits behind a moped, whose rider is checking to see if something's wrong with his bike. The light turns green, the car starts honking, and then the moped rider shuts the car up pretty fast by brandishing a freaking axe.

Production company Steelhouse and writer James Farr have just answered one of life's greatest questions: How do you make a live-action film about a yellow ball with eyes that runs about a maze eating dots and ghosts without resorting to a man in a giant foam suit?

This morning, Sarah Palin "guest hosted" on the Today Show, meaning that besides an interview with Matt Lauer, Palin cropped up in a few other segments. In this compilation of her most inane moments, she bangs her usual drums about the lamestream media and Obama's socialist policies, and, of course, she couldn't appear on national TV without an incredibly conspicuous "aw jeez, Matt."

The very first scene from The Avengers has hit the web. Behold Natasha Romanoff and Agent Coulson engaging in some very Joss Whedonesque patter while some poor doomed goons stare on slack-jawed. Tony Stark and his Exotic Friends will be in theaters May 4.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Stan Van Gundy has heard, from "people in our management right from the top," that Dwight Howard has requested that he be fired. The video above picks up Van Gundy's comments just as he utters them. At the 2:50 mark, Van Gundy is approached by Howard, who is not aware of what Van Gundy just said. Without giving Howard any indication of what's going on, Van Gundy walks away, leaving a surprised Howard to stumble and deny his way through a series of questions. It's opera buffo without the music, and it's great theater for the rest of us, but if the Magic do indeed have plans to fire Van Gundy, right about now seems to be as good a time as any.

Videographer Jeff Desom took all of the the courtyard view shots from Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window and remixed them all while keeping the film's events in chronological order. Says Desom, "Since everything was filmed from pretty much the same angle I was able to match them into a single panoramic view of the entire backyard without any greater distortions."

Kinect Star Wars is not the world's greatest new video game. I've said as much in my review. But you should see this game's failures-and its triumphs-for yourself. Watch the video and allow me to demonstrate.

On tonight's Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert told a personal story that elucidated everything that is right with America: on his way into work this morning, he captured a dude popping wheelies on his motor bike while driving through the Lincoln Tunnel. It's an amazing personal testament to all that is right with our fair nation and all that is dangerous about driving while shooting video with your iPhone.

A tow truck driver's attempt to remove a snow-bound truck in Norway went very wrong yesterday when both vehicles slid off the side of a cliff. Amazingly, everyone survived.

While APOEL's Cinderella run through the Champions League was mostly over before today's return match at Real Madrid even started, Kaká helped slam the door by increasing the aggregate lead to 5-0 when he landed a shot from a position and with a curve more reminiscent of his teammate Cristiano Ronaldo (who opened the scoring earlier in the match). It was nice of Real Madrid to give the Cyprus side a nice going-away present of effort on their way home, though.
